I know that’s probably not the best phrase to use, but I know that there are a lot of fans that feel that if Peter is going to have another love interest other than MJ then it should be Black Cat. But it makes me wonder if having her would really be necessary or if she’d only be included as a way to appease the audience.
I personally think that it would be a cool opportunity to have him connect with someone who makes his life as Spider-Man more exciting and thrilling, that he starts to abandon his life as Peter Parker. Especially since he will already be dealing with the overwhelming stress of having to rebuild his life as Peter from scratch. I think through Black Cat, Peter could really start to become more involved in the street level world where he might even cross paths with Daredevil!
