Where is the Flower Power? Why don’t we have more plants as characters?

There is Groot. Who is awesome and 100% plant. As well as his people the Flora Colossus from Planet X, but I can’t name a single one of them other than the Groot from Guardians.

We have Sequoia, who is half human and half Cotati and the whole Cotati race, but I don’t know that we get a lot of them as in depth characters.

Man Thing was originally a human but maybe counts as plant? Same with Plant Man, Black Tom Cassidy is the same but also a mutant, and Timberius is the same but an Inhuman.

I get that people write what they know but it would be interesting to know the diplomatic situation between the Cotati and the Flora Colossus or to have a plant based Avengers team.

What other kinds of plant based characters are there that I have missed?
