Most likely the first aerial shot of Edinburgh from 1920 and a historical ‘photoshopped’ image. Though it is a composite of three photos, one of the city, one of clouds, and one of the plane, all three were still taken hanging out of an airplane at 1500 ft by Alfred Buckham
